was selected by Swimwear Illustrated to model for their
trading cards.
Shawn's love for horses started
with her first one at the age of two, and she has
been riding them her entire life. Seeing that she
was a natural at horseriding, Dolly Parton's Dixie
Stampede offered to train Shawn to perform trick riding
(acrobatics on horseback) for their show. After two
seasons of the glamorous show Shawn moved to Dallas
where she was accepted into the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders,
cheering for the 1997-1998 season. Shawn was also
the centerfold for their 1997 Swimsuit calendar.
These days Shawn juggles her
acting career while concentrating on riding in the
Olympic sport of 3-Day Eventing - her dream is to
someday make it to the Olympics. Shawn and her husband,
Mike, live in the country where they own 4 horses.
Mike travels to competitions throughout the year with
Shawn to help with the horses and to offer his loving
support.
