Scarlet
Garcia was born in Nicaragua and came to the United
States at the age of seven. Growing up in Texas with
her family, Scarlet learned ballet, jazz, and modern
dance as well as participating in different sports activities
such as Cross Country and Track. After graduating from
Newman Smith High School, Scarlet attended to Southern
Methodist University from where she receive her BBA
in Finance. At age 20, Scarlet
represented Texas in the Miss All-American Latina
2001 and won first-runner up for Miss All-American
Latina. In 2001, she signed with Suzanne Horne of
the Horne Agency and has been working hard on building
her resume as an actress. She has done local and national
commercials for Ford, print ads for Pepsi, hosted
Spanish local shows, and participated in indie films
such as "12 Hot Women".
Scarlet is currently finishing up her Bachelor in
Business Administration in Finance and will graduate
in May 2003. She is looking forward to finishing school
and concentrating in acting.
