NOVEMBER:
GWENDOLYNN MURPHY
Gwendolynn realized early in
life her desire to have a career in entertainment after
being cast in an elementary school musical production
called The Wackadoo Zoo, where she sang & danced
as the Lead Solo Pig. Following her reign as Miss Amarillo
USA and graduating with a Degree in Court Reporting,
Gwendolynn moved to Dallas to pursue her dreams. She
soon appeared in TV productions such as "E!
Entertainment's Wild On: The South",
Showtime's "Bad
Girls" and The Movie
Channel's Promos, as well
as on the Dallas-based TV show "Stingray:
The Series" as pyschic
TV talk show host Amanda Walsh. In addition to these,
Gwendolynn has also performed with professional dance teams,
including three years as a #1 Ranked NBA
Dallas Mavericks Dancer.
Feature film roles include appearances as Asita &
the Lead Dance Choreographer in "Kung
Fu Girls Club". C
& C Productions recently cast Gwendolynn as the
lead Satine in Moulin Rouge performed for the Deep
Ellum Film Festival Awards Party;
the principal role of Annie “Six” in
"Chicago" performed
for Sony & Tower Records and the principal role
of Little Elvis in "Viva
Las Vegas" starring
Lou Diamond Phillips.
